Rava Kesari

Very easy and simple method.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Semolina Rava/Sooji
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 10 nos Cashews
  • Kesari colour A pinch
  • 2 cups Hot water
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka
  • 10 nos Raisins Onakkamunthiri

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add cashews, raisins, cardamom and fry till brown in color.
  • Add rava and fry for 2 minutes or till the raw smell of the rava leaves. Keep this aside.
  • Boil hot water in a pan and mix the fried rava and sugar in it.
  • Mix well so that no lumps are formed.
  • Add kesari color.
  • When it becomes thick remove from flame. :- Serve hot or chilled.
