  • Semolina(Rava/Sooji) - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - 1 1/4 cups
  • Cashews - 10 nos
  • Kesari colour(A pinch) -
  • Hot water - 2 cups
  • Cardamom powder(Elakka) - 1/4 tsp
  • Raisins(Onakkamunthiri) - 10 nos

Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a pan.
  2. Add cashews, raisins, cardamom and fry till brown in color.
  3. Add rava and fry for 2 minutes or till the raw smell of the rava leaves. Keep this aside.
  4. Boil hot water in a pan and mix the fried rava and sugar in it.
  5. Mix well so that no lumps are formed.
  6. Add kesari color.
  7. When it becomes thick remove from flame. :- Serve hot or chilled.
