Clean the lemon nicely and squeeze the juice. Keep this aside.
Take 3 cups water and add the crushed ginger to it. Boil for 5 minutes.
Add sugar and boil again until the sugar melts completely.
When the sugar syrup has become a bit sticky, turn off the burner. Cool the sugar syrup.
Now add the lemon juice and stir uniformly. Add lime essence.
Strain the lime ginger squash into a clean vessel and pour into a dry bottle.
Tips:-
1)While adding the preservative, liquidize it in a little hot water before adding to the squash.
It is preferable not to add preservatives. By storing in a refrigerator, you can serve the purpose of lasting.
