- Clean the lemon nicely and squeeze the juice. Keep this aside. 
- Take 3 cups water and add the crushed ginger to it. Boil for 5 minutes. 
- Add sugar and boil again until the sugar melts completely. 
- When the sugar syrup has become a bit sticky, turn off the burner. Cool the sugar syrup. 
- Now add the lemon juice and stir uniformly. Add lime essence. 
- Strain the lime ginger squash into a clean vessel and pour into a dry bottle. 
- Tips:-
1)While adding the preservative, liquidize it in a little hot water before adding to the squash. 
- It is preferable not to add preservatives. By storing in a refrigerator, you can serve the purpose of lasting.
