Cut the fish into thin even sized pieces.
Wash and pat dry. Keep this aside.
Make a paste of vinegar, pepper, maida and necessary salt.
Dip the fish pieces in this paste and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
Make a batter of the remaining flour, egg, milk, grated cheese and required salt.
Coat the fish pieces with the batter.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the fish pieces to a golden brown colour.
