Make a thick paste with all the ingredients for marination.
Clean fish and marinate it with the prepared paste for 20 minutes.
Heat oil and shallow fry fish and keep it aside.
In the same pan, saute garlic& ginger,followed by sliced onion and green chillies.
When you get the cooked smell add tomato and saute well.
Add all the spice powders except gram masala and saute well
Add thin coconut milk to it and let it boil for a minute.
Put fried fish into gravy and add vinegar & salt.
Cover the pan and cook it in a low flame for 10 minutes.
Add thick coconut milk and make it warm and springle gram masala.
Garnish your fish molly with fried cashew nuts & raisins.
