Ingredients
  

  • 1k g Kappa
  • 1 kg Beef / Mutton medium size pieces
  • 1 no Coconut grated
  • 5 nos Button onion
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 3 pods garlic
  • 3 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Perumjeerakam powder
  • 1 tsp Musturad
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1 strip Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Clean kappa and cut into small pieces.
  • Cook well and keep it aside.
  • Marinate meat with 2 tsp chilly powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp garam masala for 30 minutes.
  • Cook well and add salt to taste.
  • Add cooked beef into kappa.
  • Crush onions, green chillies, garlic and add rest of the spices & mix well with finally grated coconut.
  • Add above mixture into cooked kappa and beef and mix together.
  • Put the vessel on low flame for 5-10 minutes (Dum).
  • Heat the oil and break mustard.
  • Add curry leaves and garnish your kappa biriyani.
  • :- Serve hot with lime pickle.
