Clean and wash prawns.
Dry roast grated coconut till it turns golden brown.
Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and fenugreek powder.
Roast for 2 more minutes in a low flame and remove from fire.
After cooling this roasted coconut mixture, grind it into a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, add curry leaves and dry red chillies.
Saute sliced shallots and chopped green chillies till shallots become soft.
Add prawns and saute for a while.
Add the roasted coconut paste along with tamarind pulp, salt and required quantity of water.
10)Cook the dish in a medium flame till it reaches the required consistency.
:- Remove from fire and serve hot with rice.
