Ingredients
  

  • 250 gms Moong dal
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt as reqd
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 4 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook moong dal by adding turmeric powder and salt.
  • When it is cooked, mash it well with a beater and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic ,green chilies and sautT till onion becomes light golden brown.
  • Add cooked dal and mix it well.
  • Add little water to get the required consistency.
  • Keep it in a low flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with roti or plain rice.
