Splutter the mustard seeds and then add curry leaves.
Add the chopped cabbage, salt and turmeric powder then sautT well (do not add water). Close the kadai with a lid.
Take a mixer and add the coconut, shallots and green chillies. Just beat it.
:- Don¦t make it as a paste, but make sure that the shallots and green chillies are shredded.
Add the ground coconut mixture to the cooked cabbage and mix well.
Keep it in the low flame for another one minute and take it off
Note:- Add urad dal with mustards, this will give a different taste to thoran.
