Kerala Chicken Curry - Nadan Style

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • Coriander leaves few, Malliyila
  • 5-6 flakes Garlic
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 3 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 big Coconut milk
  • 1 no Onion thinly sliced, large size
  • Curry leaves few, Karivepilla
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Make a nice paste of the ingredients from 2 - 5 and put in the cleaned chicken.
  • Heat Chilly powder and coriander powder and add into the above paste.
  • Put salt according to your taste and keep this marination for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in the pan and saute the onions till they are brown and sticky.
  • Add the marinated chicken to this and let it cook for some time.
  • When it is half cooked add little coconut milk to this and let it cook nicely.
  • Add the rest of the coconut milk to this and remove from flame after 2 minutes.
  • Put Coriander leaves and Curry leaves for taste.
  • :- Serve hot!!!
