should be cut into tiny pieces of 1 cm

Coconut oil

Fresh coconut(grated)

Instructions
Shallots, grated coconut, 1 green chilly and some curry leaves together needs a light smash in the mixer. 2 sec run will do. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Saute curry leaves and black gram.
Add onions and chillies.
When onion turns golden brown, add cut cabbage after washing in water.
Mix well and add turmeric and salt.
Close the lid for 5 mins.
:- It should get cooked by now.
Add the shallot mixture and give it a stir.
Sprinkle little coconut oil on top.
:- Serve hot with rice.
