Cabbage With Dry Prawns

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Cabbage
  • Dry prawns handful
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ½ spoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 no Onion
  • 3 nos Green chillies – 2
  • ½ spoon Turmeric powder
  • ½ spoon Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 stem Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves handful

Instructions
 

  • Remove the head and tail of the dried prawns and clean it with water.
  • Place a frying pan, and fry the dried prawns till it becomes crispy.
  • Shred the cabbage (the way you do it for making cabbage thoran)
  • Heat oil in a vessel on the stove.
  • Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Add the onions and green chillies and sautT properly.
  • Add the turmeric powder and chilly powder. Saute till the raw smell disappears.
  • Add the curry leaves and mix the shredded cabbage into it with required salt.
  • Place a lid and allow it to cook. :- Keep mixing regularly so that it doesn¦t stick to the vessel.
  • Once the cabbage is cooked, mix the dried prawns into it.
  • Sprinkle a bit garam masala to add flavour and garnish it with coriander leaves.
