2-3 nos Brinjal medium size Kathirikka 1 1/2 tsp Chilly Powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp Pepper powder Salt As reqd Oil As reqd
Cut the brinjals into thin slices in oval/round shape.
Mix chilly, turmeric, pepper powders and salt .
Marinate the brinjal pieces with the above mixture and keep it aside for 1/2 hour.
Note:- There should not be any water content in the mixture
Heat oil in a flat frying pan.
Put the marinated pieces and fry in low flame. Turn the pieces upside down when one portion is done, just like frying fish.
Fry until the desired crispness is achieved.
:- Some may like it soft and some may like it crisp. Take care not to burn the pieces
:- Serve hot with rice
