Kerala Prawns Fry with Small Onions, Easy to prepare prawns dish in just 20 minutes. This is a very simple dish with few ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Prawns cleaned & deveined
  • 2 cups Small onions sliced, Cheriya ulli
  • 5 nos Green chillies sliced to 2 lengthwise
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Cook prawns along with salt, turmeric powder and 2 green chillies in sufficient water.
  • :- Once done there should not be any left over water. :- It should not be cooked more than 6 mins as overcooking will make prawns hard.
  • Heat oil to a pan.
  • Saute small onions and remaining green chilies for 5 mins.
  • Add the prawns and curry leaves.
  • Mix well and saute for 5 more mins on low flame.
  • :- Serve hot with rice.
