Daal Tadka Marke

Ingredients
  

  • 350 gm Daal
  • Fennel seeds
  • 4 nos Garlic pods
  • 3 nos Onion medium
  • 100 gm Ginger
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilly powder
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 4 nos Green chillies
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Put daal in a pressure cooker and heat it for about 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds in it.
  • Add small chopped garlic into it.
  • Saute for a while and put chopped onions into it.
  • Add some salt along with it.
  • Add 3 spoons of chilly powder and 3/4 spoon of turmeric.
  • Add small chopped tomatoes into the mix.
  • After the daal has been been cooked for 15 - 20 mins in pressure cooker, add the mix that has been made in the pan.
  • Add green chillies(chopped) and fennel seeds into the daal.
  • Put the tadka (mix) and boil it for 10 more minutes.
  • :- Your daal taka marke is ready to be savored with chappathi, rice or naan.
