- Daal - 350 gm
- Fennel seeds -
- Garlic pods - 4 nos
- Onion(medium) - 3 nos
- Ginger - 100 gm
- Turmeric powder -
- Chilly powder -
- Tomato - 1 no
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Put daal in a pressure cooker and heat it for about 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds in it.
- Add small chopped garlic into it.
- Saute for a while and put chopped onions into it.
- Add some salt along with it.
- Add 3 spoons of chilly powder and 3/4 spoon of turmeric.
- Add small chopped tomatoes into the mix.
- After the daal has been been cooked for 15 - 20 mins in pressure cooker, add the mix that has been made in the pan.
- Add green chillies(chopped) and fennel seeds into the daal.
- Put the tadka (mix) and boil it for 10 more minutes.
- :- Your daal taka marke is ready to be savored with chappathi, rice or naan.
