Tamilnadu Easy Chicken Curry

Hot n spicy chicken curry for rice, chapathi

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 1 no Onion big
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Chicken masala any brand
  • Oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 cups Water
  • Coriander leaves A few
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Clean the chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion pieces and fry them until it turns golden brown.
  • Add curry leaves and fry.
  • Add red chilli powder and chicken masala and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and water.
  • Mix well, cover and allow it to cook on medium flame for 5 mins.
  • Open and cook for 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  • :- Serve with rice and chapathi.
