Grind coconut, red chillies, garlic, jeera and small onion.
Put some oil in the pressure cooker(because the rice won`t stick at the bottom).
Pour the diluted tamarind, toor dal, ground coconut, salt, turmeric powder and asfoetida.
Allow the water to boil for 5 mins.
Put the rice and close the lid.
Pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
Heat oil in the pan.
Splutter mustard and urad dal.
Add onion and curry leaves and saute till onion turns brown.
:- If you need more spicy, you can add red chillies & green chillies.
Pour the seasoning of mustard and onion in the pressure cooker and stir.
:- Serve hot with papad and raitha.
