Kerala Cauliflower Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • 1 no Onion medium
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 nos Garlic pods optional
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions
 

  • In a vessel, boil the water and add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and add cauliflower florets. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  • Chop the onion, slit green chillies and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Add onion and chillies followed by chopped garlic pods and fry for 2 - 3 mins.
  • Into this, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Add a little water to make a paste.
  • Add the florets and mix well with masala and cook for about 8 mins.
