Sausage Fry

Quick & Easy Kerala style sausage fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack Sausages
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cut the sausages into small pieces, preferably small cubes (1 cm thick) and wash properly in warm water.
  • Remove all the water.
  • In a vessel, add the sausage, chilly powder, turmeric, 1 tsp black pepper powder, salt and mix well.
  • Let the sausage marinate in the masala for 10 - 15 mins.
  • Heat a round bottom pan/wok on low heat and add the oil.
  • Wait till the oil is hot and then add the marinated sausages to the pan.
  • Keep frying. Initially the sausage will swell up and change colour but keep frying (10 - 15 mins) till the sausage becomes dark brown in colour.
  • Then add 1 tsp black pepper powder, mix well and remove.
  • :- Lovely Kerala style sausage fry is ready to be served. Best suited as a snack along with drinks or as an accompaniment along with rice.
