Vettu Cake
Vettu Cake is a Simple fried dough. Vettu Cake is a good tea time snack.

- 2 cups Maida
- 1 cup Semolina
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 6 Egg
- Salt pinch
- Vegetable oil for frying
Take a blender,add eggs,sugar,cardamom powder and blend it for 5 minutes.
Mix the maida, semolina, sugar and a pinch of salt along with the beaten egg.
Add ghee and make it into a tight dough. Keep it aside for 1 - 2 hours.
Divide the dough into equal portions.
Shape the dough roughly like a square or circle and run a sharp knife over the dough and cut ito diamond shapes.
Fry these in the oil till they are golden brown.
Drain the excess oil from Vettu Cake with a paper towel.
Serve Vettu Cake with tea as a snack.
