Coconut Pachadi

Quick pachadi to accompany rice

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Beaten curd/Yoghurt
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • Oil for seasoning
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 no Red chilly
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Grind coconut, green chillies and ginger into a paste.
  • Mix the above paste with the beaten yoghurt.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Season with mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies and curry leaves.
  • :- This is a good accompaniment for any curry made without tamarind(kootu variety).
  • :- This pachadi is also tasty just eaten with plain rice.
