Cook the basmati rice with salt and bay leaves in a pressure cooker or microwave oven.
Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
Add the cinnamon, cardamom and finely chopped onion and stir well on a medium flame.
When the onion turns golden brown, add the beaten egg into it and stir fast to scramble it.
Meanwhile, marinate the prawns with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt in 2 tbsp of lime water.
Add it into the pan along with the grated carrot.
Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on low flame for 10 mins.
Add peas to it and finally add the cooked rice.
Sprinkle the ground pepper and 1 tbsp of ghee.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
