Prawns Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 1 glass Basmati rice
- 1 no Carrot grated
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- 3 nos Eggs
- 1 cup Prawns 20 pieces
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 2 tbsp Vanaspati ghee
- 2 nos Cinnamon Karugapatta
- 1 no Bay leaf Vazhana/Karuga ela
- 4 nos Cardamom Elakka
- 1 tbsp Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Pepper (grinded)
- 1 no Onion
- Salt As reqd
- Water As reqd
- 2 tbsp Lime water
Instructions
- Cook the basmati rice with salt and bay leaves in a pressure cooker or microwave oven.
- Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
- Meanwhile, marinate the prawns with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt in 2 tbsp of lime water.
- Add it into the pan along with the grated carrot.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on low flame for 10 mins.
- Add peas to it and finally add the cooked rice.
- Sprinkle the ground pepper and 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- :- Serve hot with coriander chutney and mango pickle.
