Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Plantain Flower Vazhaipoo
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 1 no Onion
  • 3 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt

For seasoning:-

  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions
 

  • Cut the plantain flowers into small pieces.
  • Soak it in curd before a day which reduces the bitterness.
  • Pressure cook the flowers with little salt and turmeric powder.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till it becomes tender.
  • Add chopped tomatoes.
  • Add chilly and coriander powder and fry well.
  • Add the pressure cooked plantain flowers to the pan.
  • Add the ground masala, salt and little water.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Cover it with a lid for 2 mins.
  • :- Serve hot with chappatis.
