Dry ribbon fish
also known as belt fish
It is bilaterally compressed long ribbon like fish with silvery sheen

Onion

Ginger
garlic paste - 2 tbsp

Red chilly powder

Mustard seeds

Coriander powder

Instructions
Cut each fish into 5 - 6 pieces and wash well.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add fish pieces and fry until light brown.
Add onions, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, mustard seeds, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
Add salt and mix well.
After a short while, add chopped tomatoes.
Mix well and fry until the oil gets separated.
Add little water and cook until it is done.
