Drumstick Rocks

Ingredients
  

  • 6 nos Drumsticks Muringakka
  • 1 no Onion finely chopped, medium
  • 3 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp Roasted daliya Pottukadala
  • 3 nos Garlic pods finely chopped
  • Ginger same amount as garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Jeera powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Clean and cut the drumsticks into pieces of 5 cms long.
  • Boil these pieces of drumsticks with turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp of salt by adding sufficient amount of water, in a pressure cooker upto 1 whistle.
  • Powder the roasted daliya in a dry grind mixie jar.
  • Allow the boiled drumsticks to cool and remove the cooked flesh with the help of a teaspoon in a bowl.
  • Add the powdered daliya, finely chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, pepper powder, jeera powder and salt to the boiled drumstick flesh.
  • Make small small pebble shaped balls of this mixture and deep fry in the oil.
