Andhra (Greengram) special Pan cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Green gram Cheru payar
  • 2 cups Onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 cup Ginger finely chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 cup Refined oil

Instructions
 

  • Soak the green gram over night. Clean and discard outer husk.
  • Put the green gram preferably in wet grinder and grind into soft dough.
  • Place nonstick frying pan on stove, put some oil and heat.
  • Spread thin layer of dough in a circle, add onion, green chilli and ginger pieces uniformly on the pan cake.
  • Add some more oil and fry on both sides.
  • :- Serve with upma.
