1/2 kg Green gram (Cheru payar)2 cups Onion (finely chopped)1 cup Green chillies (chopped)1/2 cup Ginger (finely chopped)Salt (As reqd)1 cup Refined oil Soak the green gram over night. Clean and discard outer husk.Put the green gram preferably in wet grinder and grind into soft dough.Place nonstick frying pan on stove, put some oil and heat.Spread thin layer of dough in a circle, add onion, green chilli and ginger pieces uniformly on the pan cake.Add some more oil and fry on both sides.:- Serve with upma. It will be more delicious if we add some jeera and green chillies while grinding.
