Green Biriyani
Simple way, tasty, healthy, no masala and easy to make

- 1/2 kg Chicken
- 4 nos Onion chopped length wise, medium
- 2 nos Tomato chopped
- 7 nos Green chillies
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves
- 1 bunch Mint leaves Pudhina
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- 2 glass Basmati rice
- 4 small Ghee tea spoon
- 1 kattu) Pandant leaf Pacha biriyani leaf
- 2 - Vegetable oil
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add rice and fry it for 3 mins. Keep aside.
Grind together green chillies, coriander leaves and mint leaves to a fine paste.
Heat oil in the pan.
Add cardamom, cloves, feenel seeds and onion and fry for a few mins.
Add tomato and stir it for 5 mins.
Add the ginger-garlic paste followed by the ground paste.
Add the chicken and pour 1 glass of water, salt and pandant leaf.
Cover and cook for 5 mins on a medium heat.
Heat up a cooker.
Pour the above masala followed by rice and 2 glass of water into it.
Close the cooker and cook it like your ordinary rice.
