Andhra Simple Tomato Chutney

Simple to prepare no need of grinder.....very tasty...good with anything

Ingredients
  

  • 5 nos Tomato medium
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 3 tbsp Red chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a deep fry pan.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to it.
  • Add washed whole tomatoes (or cut them into 4 pieces) to it and fry for 2 mins.
  • Keep covered on medium flame for 10 - 15 mins.
  • After tomatoes are half cooked, mash them lightly with spoon.
  • Cover it again with a lid for 5 mins.
  • After tomatoes are finely cooked, add turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilly powder to it, mix and cover it for 5 mins.
  • Add salt to it and let it be for 2 mins.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • :- Serve with rice, rotis or snacks like idli, dosa etc.
