Marinate the prawns with salt and pepper and keep it aside for atleast 1/2 an hour.
Beat egg in a bowl.
Mix maida with egg.
Pour egg-maida mixture over the marinated prawns and mix well.
Deep fry prawns till golden brown and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a wok.
Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute.
Add soya sauce and veg stock.
Add salt to taste.
When the stock boils, add fried prawns.
Mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of water and add to the gravy.
Add sugar and red colour.
Add chopped spring onion.
:- Chilli prawns is ready to serve.
