  • Marinate the prawns with salt and pepper and keep it aside for atleast 1/2 an hour.
  • Beat egg in a bowl.
  • Mix maida with egg.
  • Pour egg-maida mixture over the marinated prawns and mix well.
  • Deep fry prawns till golden brown and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute.
  • Add soya sauce and veg stock.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • When the stock boils, add fried prawns.
  • Mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of water and add to the gravy.
  • Add sugar and red colour.
  • Add chopped spring onion.
  • :- Chilli prawns is ready to serve.
