Nimbe Gojju

Made from lemon juice and grated coconut

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Lemon
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 of Coconut
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • 1 stalk Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Roast the green chillies.
  • Grind it with grated coconut, mustard seeds and salt to a paste like chutney.
  • Add the lemon juice squeezed out of lemon to that.
  • Heat a little oil in another pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add turmeric powder and curry leaves.
  • Switch off the burner and add the seasoning to the chutney.
  • :-Nimbe Gojju or Lemon chutney is ready to be served with hot rice and chapatis and dosa.
