Andhra Egg Biriyani

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 2 nos Eggs
  • 4 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 no Tomato medium
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 Boiled egg
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp Chilly powder
  • Turmeric powder A little
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) for garnishing
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Soak rice for 1/2 hour and drain.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add cloves, cardamon and cumin and fry for a minute.
  • Add green chillies and saute.
  • Add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute well.
  • Add garam masala powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute well for a minute.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till it get smashed well.
  • Add eggs directly to this mixture and mix well and keep stirring till its done.
  • Add rice to this mixture and mix well.
  • Add 3 1/2 cups water and cook, till the rice is done.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
