Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Tomato
  • Grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp Coriandar powder
  • 1 tbsp Chilly powder
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • Salt As reqd
  • Tamarind soaked in 1/2 cup of water, Puli
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • For seasoning:
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 nos Small onions Kunjulli
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies Kollamulaku

Instructions
 

  • Fry the grated coconut using little oil on a low flame till it becomes golden brown in colour.
  • Add chilly powder and corriander powder and fry until you get a good aroma.
  • Grind it to a fine paste.
  • Heat up another pan.
  • Fry the tomato pieces in a little oil.
  • Add turmeric powder and continue frying.
  • Add some tamarind solution and allow it to boil.
  • Add enough salt too.
  • Finally add the coconut paste and stir well.
  • Allow it to boil.
  • Season the dish with FRIED(fry the seeds well before seasoning)mustard seeds, chopped small onions, dry red chilly and curry leaves.
  • :- Serve this either as a side dish or as a main dish.
