Kerala Simple & Yummy Chicken Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Chicken with bones
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Dry coconut
  • 2 nos Onion sliced, medium
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Coriander leaves A handful

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken into medium size pieces. Wash and pat dry.
  • Marinate the chicken with chilly powder, 2 tsp of coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt and curd for about an hour.
  • Heat oil in a flat skillet.
  • Saute onions till they turn light brown.
  • Add the marinated chicken and cook covered till half done.
  • Add the rest 2 tsp coriander powder, salt and cook for another 10 mins.
  • Add the dry coconut and cook with lid open till chicken is done.
  • Add the chopped coriander leaves and cook for a while.
  • Remove from flame.
  • :- Serve with rice.
