Kerala Simple & Yummy Chicken Curry Mouthwatering chicken curry 1 lb Chicken (with bones)Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tsp)2 tsp Chilly powder4 tsp Coriander powder2 tbsp CurdSalt (As reqd)2 tbsp Dry coconut2 nos Onion (sliced, medium)3 tbsp OilCoriander leaves (A handful) Cut the chicken into medium size pieces. Wash and pat dry.Marinate the chicken with chilly powder, 2 tsp of coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt and curd for about an hour.Heat oil in a flat skillet.Saute onions till they turn light brown.Add the marinated chicken and cook covered till half done.Add the rest 2 tsp coriander powder, salt and cook for another 10 mins.Add the dry coconut and cook with lid open till chicken is done.Add the chopped coriander leaves and cook for a while.Remove from flame.:- Serve with rice.
