Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Rice
  • 250 gm Red gram Thuvaraparippu
  • 25 gm Gram Dhal
  • 60 gm Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 15 gm Red chilly
  • 15 gm Coriander seeds
  • 5 gm Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 3 nos Cloves – 2 Grambu
  • 5 gm Pepper
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 20 gm Dry Copra
  • 10 gm Tamarind Puli
  • 10 gm Jaggery Sharkkara
  • ½ of Coconut
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil for seasoning
  • Mustard seeds for seasoning

Vegetables:-

  • Sweet Pumpkin
  • Raw Beans

Instructions
 

  • Cook red gram till half done.
  • Add vegetables, rice and cook till well done.
  • Fry remaining ingredients with a little oil and grind with coconut to coarse paste (not too fine).
  • Mix this to the cooked rice and dhal along with tamarind pulp and jaggery.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Stir well and blend till it boils once or twice.
  • Garnish with seasoned mustard with curry leaves and 2 - 3 red chillies.
  • :- Server hot with ghee and appalam (papad).
