Grated coconut
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies & curry leaves.
Add onion, shallots & garlic and saute for 4 mins.
Add padavalanga, chilly powder, turmeric powder and saute for 5 mins on medium flame.
Add salt & water.
Cook on low flame for 5 - 10 mins, till padavalanga is cooked.
Add grated coconut and mix well.
:- Snake Gourd Thoran is ready.
:- Serve Snake Gourd Thoran hot with rice.
:- You can add 1/4 tsp of any curry powder or garam masala for flavour in step 3.
