Kerala Style Vegetable Cutlet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Cabbage Grated
  • 2 nos Carrots Grated
  • 2 nos Potato
  • 4 nos Green chillies Chopped
  • 1 no Onion Chopped
  • Salt As reqd
  • Pepper As reqd
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Oil As reqd
  • 2 nos. Eggs or All purpose flour(Maida)
  • As reqd Bread crumbs

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Kerala Style Vegetable Cutlet, first grate the cabbage and carrot.
  • Cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker with skin on.
  • When the potatoes are cooked, peel off the skin and mash.
  • Heat enough oil in pan to saute the onions.
  • Saute the onion and chillies till cooked.
  • Add the cabbage and carrot to this mixture.
  • Keep stirring until the veggies are cooked and tender.
  • Add the mashed potatoes to this mixture.
  • Add salt, pepper and garam masala.
  • When cooled, convert the mixture into small balls.
  • Dip in beaten egg or a mixture of flour and water (for the vegetarians).
  • Roll the balls in bread crumbs.
  • Fry Vegetable Cutlet in heated oil till golden brown.
