For preparing Kerala Muringakka Thoran, cut the drumstick pieces into two and using a spoon, take the fleshy part from it and keep it aside.
Mix together the drumstick's fleshy part, chopped green chillies, chopped small onions or onions, chopped garlic, grated coconut, powdered cumin seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies and curry leaves.
Add the kept aside mixture and mix well.
Cover and cook on a low flame, till done.
When it gets cooked, remove the lid and mix well.
Continue cooking till Kerala Muringakka Thoran is done on a low flame.
