  • For preparing Kerala Muringakka Thoran, cut the drumstick pieces into two and using a spoon, take the fleshy part from it and keep it aside.
  • Mix together the drumstick's fleshy part, chopped green chillies, chopped small onions or onions, chopped garlic, grated coconut, powdered cumin seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add the kept aside mixture and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on a low flame, till done.
  • When it gets cooked, remove the lid and mix well.
  • Continue cooking till Kerala Muringakka Thoran is done on a low flame.
