Brinjal Gosthu
Brinjal curry as side dish for dosa, idli and pongal

- 1 cup Green gram Moong dhal
- 2 nos Tomato
- 1 no Onion
- 3 nos Green chillies
- Salt As reqd
- 10 nos Brinjal Vazhuthananga
- 1 no Carrot lengthier one, if reqd
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
For seasoning:-
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Ginger A little, crushed
- Garlic A little, crushed
- 1 - Cloves Grambu
- Cinnamon A small piece, Karugapatta
- Cumin seeds A pinch, Jeerakam
- Aniseeds A pinch, Perinjeerakam
- Curry leaves A few
Cook the above with required water in cooker for 2 - 4 whistles.
Mash a little if required.
Season with oil, crushed ginger, crushed garlic, cloves, cinnamon, jeera, aniseeds and curry leaves.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
