Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Brinjal cut into round pieces and put them in salt water so as to get rid of the serum, Khathirikka
  • 10 nos Dry red chillies – 8 Kollamulaku
  • 1 tbsp Peppercorns
  • 4 nos Garlic pods
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Grind together red chillies, pepper, garlic and curry leaves into a paste.
  • Marinate the brinjal pieces with the above paste and vinegar for about 30 mins.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan (shallow frying).
  • Add the marinated brinjal pieces and fry.
  • Flip them to fry the other side too.
