Water
Sufficient to make the batter thinner than the dosa batter
Salt

Curry leaves

Asafoetida
A pinch, Kayam

For seasoning:-

Black gram
A little, Uzhunnuparippu
Instructions
Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl except for the chillies and oil.
Add water to get a freeflow pouring consistency.
Heat oil in a heavybottomed pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds and black gram.
Add chillies and curry leaves.
Add the rice batter and keep stirring continuously for 2 mins.
When is water is completely absorbed and it gets the texture of halwa, remove from the flame.
Pout it on a plate.
Make diamond or square slices.
:- Serve hot.
