North Indian Easy Paalak Paneer

A delicious curry with Paalak(Spinach) and Paneer cubes

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm Paneer cottage cheese
  • 2 bunches Spinach
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • 2 nos Tomato make them into a puree
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Oil for frying paneer
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Wash and boil spinach leaves in minimum water for about 8 mins.
  • Grind the boiled spinach into a coarse form.
  • Cut the paneer into cubes and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion and saute.
  • When they change the color, add the ginger-garlic paste and chilly powder and fry for 1 min.
  • Add tomato puree and cook, till oil leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Add the garam masala powder and spinach. Mix well.
  • Add milk and let it cook till it is of a thick consistency.
  • Add salt.
  • Add the paneer cubes just before serving.
