Instructions
Soak kadala overnight and pressure cook with salt, till done.
Mix together the coriander and chilly powder with little water to a paste and keep aside for 7 - 10 mins.
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Add red chillies, shallots and curry leaves and saute for 2 mins.
Add onion and saute till light brown.
Add the crushed garlic, crushed clove-perinjeerakam and chilly-coriander paste and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
Add 2 tsp of water and wait for oil to separate.
Add the cooked kadala along with water.
Cook on low flame for 10 mins.
:- Serve hot with puttu.
