Gavar Sabji
Cluster beans(Kothamarakka) cooked in garlic and chilly masala

- 250 gm Cluster beans cut into 1/2 " pieces, Kothamarakka
- 1 no Onion chopped
- 1 no Tomato chopped
- 2 nos Green chillies cut into small pieces
- 7 - Garlic pods chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- Salt As reqd
- 2 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
Cook gavar in a pan with 1/4 cup of water, till tender.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the garlic and onion, till they turn golden brown in colour.
Add tomatoes and chillies and saute for 2 mins.
Add the gavar and masala powders and continue to cook over a low flame stirring from time to time.
Cook for 5 mins, till its well blended and the preparation is dry.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
:-Serve hot with chappathis or rice.
